Brad Pitt has lost out on a Game Of Thrones screening with the show's star Emilia Clarke, despite bidding $120,000 at a charity gala.
The movie star became involved in a bidding war for the chance to hang out with British actress Clarke during an auction at the 2018 Sean Penn & Friends Haiti Rising Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Emilia, who portrays Daenerys Targaryen in the cult fantasy drama, giggled throughout the fierce auction, as the opening price of $20,000 quickly soared.
Appearing to be egged on by Leonardo DiCaprio, Pitt continued to increase his offer, until tapping out as the price reached $150,000 . The lot was eventually won by a husband and wife duo, paying $160,000 for the date, reports People.com.
The star-studded event benefits Penn's J/P Haitian Relief Organization, which he launched in the wake of Haiti's devastating 2010 earthquake, to help with rebuilding and recovery efforts.
