"Mama June," Honey Boo Boo's mother, is making sure that her children don't go down the same path as other reality stars, as she revealed that she's not "living above her means" on the check from TLC. June told TMZ that she's setting up a trust fund for her daughters with their earnings from the show.
They earn roughly $15-25,000 each episode, which June has equally divided into a trust for all of her girls: Alana "HBB" Thomson (7), Lauryn (12), Jessica (15) and Anna (18) and baby Kaitlyn. She also said that the girls can't touch the money until they turn 21, or in case of a medical emergency.
June also revealed that the money never even enters her hands, saying "TLC puts the money into the girls' trust accounts for me and then I get an email telling me how much everyone gets."
The family is currently living off of Sugarbear's contracting job, and June says "You're never gonna see me drive a Range Rover or a Mercedes. I'll drive one if someone else pays for it. Never gonna live above my means."
