Britney Spears Getting Booted from X-Factor for Being Boring?

According to US Weekly, Britney Spears is getting fired from "The X-Factor" for being too boring. The report suggests that producers are upset with Britney's performance during the second season of the hit Fox show.
A source told the magazine that the producer's $15 million investment in the pop superstar didn't pay off like they wanted it to, saying "They paid all that for her to say 'amazing' and offer half-claps."
During a November press conference Britney was positive about sticking around for the third season of the show, saying "Yes, I definitely will [be back]."
