Protesters Stake Out at Kim Kardashian's Public Appearance

Kim Kardashian caused quite the stir while visiting Bahrain and Kuwait this past week, opening several Millions of Milkshakes chains in the area, as protesters came out to tell the reality star she wasn't welcome in their country. The incident happened in Riffa, Bahrain Saturday, just south of the capital of Manama.
According to USA Today, around 100 Sunni Salafists demonstrated outside "The Walk Bahrain", an upscale mall in Manama, holding signs reading "none of our customs and traditions allow us to receive stars of porn movies" and "Kim not welcome."
Police responded to the scene, where they reportedly doused the demonstrators with tear gas, which broke up the protest.
