Heather Mills, former wife of Beatles star Paul McCartney, was branded a gold digger by her former publicist, Michele Elyzabeth, after she stopped working for Mills. Elyzabeth revealed that during Mills' divorce from Paul, in which she received $50 million, she lied about Paul financially supporting Heather, which the media lapped up.

Elyzabeth was quoted saying, "I've asked myself many times what was Heather's motivation, but it all points to one thing - money. She's a gold digger. I'm certain her marriage to Paul was all about the money."
