After partying in New York for the weekend Lindsay Lohan was hospitalized for asthma related issues, and is now resting at her mother's home.
On Saturday night Lindsay let loose in Central Park for DJ-producer Steve Angello's "Size Matters" show, and then ended up in the VIP room of Satsky & Gefter. According to the New York Post, Lindsay hung out with New York Ranger Aaron Voros and his former teammate Sean Avery.
When the skies opened up around 10pm Lindsay and her friends tried to escape the club unscathed, but ended up getting soaked, exacerbating her asthmatic state. However, she continued working through what she thought was pneumonia on set of "Scary Movie 5."
"I have been really sick with pneumonia but I have been working," Lohan said. "I have been shooting 'Scary Movie' with Charlie Sheen. He was really great to work with and gave me some good advice about surviving in this business."
Lindsay's mother, Dina Lohan, blamed her daughter's condition on the high pollen count in New York at the moment, which was backed up by information found on weather.com.
"Lindsay had not been feeling well all last week following a week of high pollen counts in New York. She has had bronchial asthma ever since she was little."
The actress is now getting well at her mother's home until she's able to return to work.
