Legendary country singer Randy Travis is making headlines for all the wrong reasons, as he was arrested late Tuesday night after crashing his car into a barricade and laying nude in the road. TMZ revealed details surrounding the incident, which began after a neighbor called the Grayson County Sheriff's Office to report a man laying in the middle of the road.
Once on the scene officers noticed that Travis had crashed his 1988 Pontiac Trans-Am into several barricades at a construction zone. Initially he was arrested for a DWI, but then began to threaten officers in the police car, threatening to "shoot and kill the Troopers working the case."
Travis was then booked and charged with DWI and retaliation for making the threats, all while nude. Officers gave the singer a shirt and a paper pants to cover his bare body while taking his mugshot. Soon after being booked Travis posted a $21,500 bail and was released.
This is Travis' 2nd arrest this year, as he was busted for drinking in his car in front of a Baptist church back in February.
