Strapped in his shiny silver Fisker Karma, Justin Bieber was pulled over on the 101 Freeway in L.A. for "reckless speeding" after a L.A. City Councilman feared for his life when Justin whizzed by him going "over 100 mph."
TMZ revealed that City Councilman and former LAPD motor officer Dennis Zine saw Justin trying to shake a team of paparazzi on his tail and was barreling down the 101, weaving in and out of traffic.
"Bieber was driving like a maniac. He was weaving in and out of traffic. There was hardly any space between cars as he weaved from lane to lane."
Zine also added that if had been on patrol Justin would've have gotten off with just a warning.
"If I was on patrol, I would have arrested him for reckless driving. I was going 60 and he drove by me like he was in a rocket ship. He was a maniac."
Zine added that the paparazzi were driving erratically on the shoulder of the freeway and causing an extremely hazardous situation.
However, Justin's manager Scooter Braun says that Zine "is just a councilman looking for a headline." Braun revealed that Justin was cited for going 80 mph as he ws being chased by the paparazzi.
