Superstar singer Celine Dion has been branded a cheapskate by her ex-handyman, who claims that Celine and her husband "improperly and illegally designated him as an exempt employee," which allowed them to avoid paying his overtime.
TMZ obtained the lawsuit filed by Keith Sturtevant on Wednesday, which claims that he was hired in 2009 as Celine and Rene's "warehouse manager," but regularly worked on the couple's Florida compound. His job entailed him running various errands for the couple, building stages, fixing ice makers and cleaning the shutters.
To make matters more complicated for Sturtevant he was titled as a "manager," but never had the power to hire and fire an employees.
Sturtevant is currently suing for the amount he claims he's owed for back overtime pay, as he claims he worked well over 40 hours a week for the couple.
