Brooklyn rapper turned mogul Jay-Z even caught some flack for the lyrical content of his music in Shanghai. The Chinese Culture Ministry had cancelled a scheduled peformance by the Brooklyn artist, stating "Some of Jay's songs contain too much vulgar language”.
