If it wasn't for a stipulation within the business aspect of the National Football league, which prohibits NFL owners to own other non-football teams, Stan Kroenke would have the majority stake in multiple sporting franchises.

He owns Kroenke Sports Enterprises, which includes teams situated in the state of Colorado such as the Nuggets(NBA), the Rapids (MLS), and Avalanche (NHL) and the Rams of St. Louis, which he purchased for $750 million.
