Arguably one of the greatest defensive tackle players in the NFL, Warren Sapp has recently fallen in a bad financial hardship and filed for bankruptcy in Florida.
Sapp filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy, claiming he owes $6.7 million to various creditors, and reveals that he even had to sell his 2002 Super Bowl ring to make ends meet.
His list of debt includes back payments to the IRS, $2,858 in medical bills for “Corrective Speech and Language Therapy” and hundreds of thousands in back child support payments to his four baby mamas.
Sapp says he only has $6.45 million to his name, which would barely cover the beginning of his debt. In his assets Warren listed 240 pairs of Air Jordan sneakers, which would surely sell for a pretty penny on eBay.
