Following her death garments from Whitney Houston's personal collection brought in $18,750 at Julien’s Auctions, which is just down the road from the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where Houston was found dead at 48.
Items included pearl earrings she wore during The Bodyguard, a silver bustier, a grey velvet gown she wore to Clive Davis' Grammy party and other clothing items from the famed singer's closet.
Other lots include Charlie Chaplin's iconic cane, a suit and his driving licence, a Superman costume and a vintage Christian Dior gown worn by Princess Diana.
