Peyton Manning is officially a member of the Denver Broncos, as the famed quarterback signed a 5-year $96 million contract with the team. It was reported that Manning will receive $18 million in 2012 with no injury protection.
Granted he passes a March 2013 physical, guarantees of $20 million will activate for 2013 and 2014, with an undisclosed injury waiver.
The announcement was made official during a 3 pm press conference, which made it obvious that the team will be looking to trade Tim Tebow as soon as possible.
