Nicki Minaj has been tapped as the face of a multimillion dollar campaign for Pepsi's latest creation - "Pop". According to Forbes, the Young Money princess scored a seven-figure deal which includes a commercial, recently shot in Argentina. The ad will launch later this spring, although footage of the shoot leaked online last month.
“You’ll see the commercial probably in the next two months,” said Derek Jackson of Glu, the agency that brokered the deal. “That’ll be a segue into a new beverage Pepsi has, called ‘Pop,’ and she’ll be the face of the brand… It’s going to be explosive.”
Terms of the deal have yet to be publicly disclosed, but Forbes reports that it was worth millions.
