Legendary Actor Dick Van Dkye is a Newlywed at 86

Legendary actor Dick Van Dyke, known for his roles on Mary Poppins and The Dick Van Dyke Show, has remarried at the tender age of 86 to 40-year-old makeup artist, Arlene Silver.The pair met six years ago in the green room at the SAG Awards and revealed to RumorFix that they decided to wed on February 29, which was Leap Day.

Dick was married once before to Margie Willett in 1948 during a live broadcast of the radio show Bride and Groom. Dick and Margie were married for 36 years and had four children together before divorcing in 1984 after a long separation. From 1976-2003 he lived with his longtime companion Michelle Triola, who died of lung cancer at 76.

Dick commented on marrying later in life, saying 'I’m not a loner,' a typically upbeat happy Van Dyke tells RumorFix. 'I have to have a life partner and I found the perfect one.'
