A lot of celebrities seem to be having serious problems with paying their taxes as of late, and Chris Tucker is near the top of the list. Just when it seemed like the actor/comedian's tax debt couldn't get any bigger, the government added another half a million dollars to his already massive bill.
Tucker was already in the hole to the IRS for the princely sum of $11,571,909.26 for federal taxes from 2001, 2002 and 2004 through 2006.
Now it would appear the state of Georgie is getting in on the fun - recently filing a tax lien against the financially challenged Tucker in the amount of $592,594.82 for the year 2007.
The grand total of Tucker's debt to the government comes out to $12,164,504.08. The actor's camp has yet to comment.
