Solange Knowles couldn't be happier about the birth of her niece Blue Ivy. During a photo shoot for Rollacoaster magazine, the 25 year-old singer and model did an interview where she discussed her pride in being an aunt.
"I think babies in general are so lovable - and my sister's baby, Blue, is so beautiful. She is really a beautiful little baby. It's really special to have a niece because I have a son, so I get to have a little girl too."
Solange is obviously a very proud aunt and loves both her sister and niece dearly. She did reveal that she would not be offering Beyonce any major parenting advice though. Her reasoning behind it is very respectful and true.
"I think it's really important for every mother to find their own way. I think it's actually the most annoying thing when you're a new mum and you're getting so much advice from other mothers! You really just have to feel it out for yourself. But she's my best friend and we talk at least every other day."
Solange may be Beyonce's baby sister, but her strong views and experience involving motherhood demonstrate her maturity. Her love for Blue Ivy is really something to admire.
