Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx and Tyler Perry are joining forces for an outrageous new movie, "Skank Robbers," starring their beloved alter-egos, Sheneneh, Madea and Wanda. However, a convicted bank robber by the name of Shamont Lyle Sapp says the trio stole the idea from him.
Sapp is suing all three stars, Fox Broadcasting and producer David Zuckerman for a total of $4 million in damages. He claims that he gave Foxx and Perry the idea for the project, but they cut him out of the action.
Sapp's storyline was a little different, with Madea and the gang being in a mental institution and not bank robbers.
One month before Sapp pitched his idea to Perry Foxx and Martin did a "Skank Robbers" sketch for the BET Awards in 2009, so it seems Sapp's lawsuit may be bogus.
