"Basketball Wives" star and ex-fiancee of former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker is facing a lawsuit for allegedly receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars illegally.
Walker earned an impressive $110 million during his NBA career, plus millions more in endorsements, and the player burned through his entire fortune and then some.
He filed for bankruptcy last year, and now the bankruptcy trustee is calling foul. They claim Walker gave Lozada $560,000 when he already knew he was going to have to file for bankruptcy. They say this was an attempt to hide money from creditors, and is illegal.
The suit goes on to say Lozada used the money to start a shoe store in Miami called Dulce, and now they want the money back.
Lozada and Walker claim it was all legit -- he gave her the money to pay her bills. Other sources say Lozada got the money by selling her engagement ring.
It will be interesting to see how this thing pans out.
